Airport welcomes
Somebody lands at four in the morning and there are flowers waiting with their name on them.
We meet the flight at JKIA arrivals and hand them over in the hall. The ribbon is printed with their name — Karibu Kenya and then whoever they are — in the flag colours. Usually white roses; sometimes the whole bouquet in red, white and green.
We send you a photograph of the handover, because you are almost never the person standing there. If they are going straight on somewhere, we can carry the flowers to the car or on to the hotel.
